Great staff, beautiful room, excellent costumer service, outstanding cleaning, great view, and convenient location 10/10.

We came to CDMX for our honey moon and we couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. The space was gorgeous and everyone we came in contact with was very hospitable. Even if you aren’t staying in the hotel please take a chance with the terrace on the 5th floor. Shout out to Andrea and Rudy for taking great care of us at breakfast. Cynthia and Alan for taking care of us whenever we were at the pool! Alberto and Luis helped us with our Luche Libre experience and were available for any late night needs. We will be returning!

Umbral Hilton provided comfortable, high-quality accommodations. The area is safe for international travellers with key landmarks such as The Zocalo, Bellas Artes, and The Cathedral within a couple of blocks. Meet-up options for tours are also close by, although it often made more sense to walk a few blocks to grab our Uber because traffic is slow. No big deal, but wearing comfortable shoes is a must. Food options are plentiful, readily available, and steps away: 24-hr Taqueria Los Cocuyos (visited by Anthony Bourdain), Azulisimo (unmatchable high-end traditional), Terraza Gran Hotel (Zocalo view)...and we had Tim Horton's coffee next door, as well as excellent restaurants with natural juices and many options both at the base of the hotel and on the top floor. We also used the room service, and it was excellent. My husband liked the burger and I loved the quesadillas made with hand-made coloured corn tortillas. The blended margaritas by the pool are delicious. The bed and linen were comfortable and of high quality, and our room was very spacious. Overall, a great stay! Fully recommend it.

The hotel staff was excellent, from the beginning to the end I felt extremely accommodated. Luis, Manuel and Alberto couldn’t have been more generous and kind with their attention. However, the only asterisk is the rooftop restaurant. The food and service were mediocre, truly a black and white experience from that of the hotel.

Amazing stay, beautiful room with great rooftop. Relaxing and near a lot of great shopping and tourist destinations. Will be back for sure.

All in general was amazing, no complaints at all!! Very nice hotel and antique, very good location. Zocalo is around the corner, Torre Latinoamericana and Bellas Artes are very close. 100 % recommended 👍

This hotel is just a few blocks from the main plaza in Centro Historico and is a wonderful place to stay! An old monastery converted into a hotel, it is a charming oasis in the downtown area. The staff is amazing-so friendly and helpful, especially Luis the bellhop, Eduardo and Fatima at the front desk, and Alex, the manager of the rooftop restaurant and bar. The room (209) was clean and well supplied, bed was comfortable and there is a nice sitting room right as you enter that can be curtained off from the bedroom. Bathroom was spacious with the most huge shower I have ever seen! Plenty of bottled water is available at no cost from the hotel. The mini taco appetizers at the rooftop restaurant are super tasty and the staff works hard to mix your drinks just how you prefer. There is a restaurant with healthy options including fresh fruit on the main floor as well as a Tom Horton’s (coffee). Highly recommend!
