Imperial Hotel

Great value hotel which is clean and comfortable. The staff here are excellent, their good service creates a lovely atmosphere. There loads to do in Eastbourne and the local area. You can also catch the 12 bus for the south downs and Brighton. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Enjoyed another really enjoyable stay at the Imperial. This hotel is consistently good with helpful staff, good choice of food and clean and comfortable bedrooms which are serviced daily by very cheerful staff. Hotel in good location and always offers good value for an enjoyable stay. That is why we have visited a number of times and hope to return again in the summer. We always request 4th floor and despite lifts are at times busy there is never long to wait. Also not having to worry about handling luggage is always a bonus travelling with Daishs.

Visited the Imperial at Eastbourne for the second time it’s not 5* but the food is ok always something to eat and does not taste mass produced but the thing that makes this hotel is the staff on all levels and the cleanliness. Well aware it’s an old hotel and some idiosyncrasies are to be expected so no problems. The rooms and all areas are very clean and above all the staff are some of the best from management to bar staff, waiting staff and the ladies who do the rooms nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile and good cheer some other far more expensive establishments could learn a thing or two so well done Imperial thanks for a great short break.

The food and service was very good. For breakfast we ordered cereal, fruit juice and tea the evening before on the table as we arrived. Cooked meal order taken after ceral cleared. Promptly served and the best scrambled egg, I have had in a hotel for a long time. Rooms clean and well decorated. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Myself my daughter and granddaughter arrived back home on the 15th April, We stayed in room 326 the only complaint was we had 3 single beds I slept in the one nearest the door the mattress was lumpy and I couldn't sleep properly. The shower had very little power and there was a smell from the bathroom. Apart from that we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the holiday. The other bug bear was having to change coaches on the way back.

I can not fault this hotel, all the staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly. The food was good and my room was comfortable and clean. The evening entertainment excellent. The hotel is situated just a couple of minutes walk from the sea front with the town centre about ten minutes away. I would definitely go there again.

Went on a Daisy holiday from Suffolk, journey down and return were good, hotel was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful, food was multiple choice and was served hot and in a timely manner, I requested a room with a bath for disability purposes and was delighted to be allocated one on arrival, lifts could be better as only take 3 people but that is my only comment. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast this morning was very poor but the room was good the entertainment was brilliant.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff, the accommodation and food was good value. I would go again but insist on a lower floor as the two lifts only allow 3 persons and are constantly very busy, especially before and after meal times. Walking up 4 floors soon loses its appeal.

Ideal place to visit if you are travelling alone made 3 friends while there - we were all widows (afraid there is a lot of us about) as they will sit you next to people in your circumstances. Room lovely and clean staff very good. Only thing was not happy with was the main meal, breakfast/dessert/starters/ good.
