I loved my single room option everything I needed, a fan would have been useful was really warm in the room when I stay in August the height of summer. Shame there wasn’t any parking but fully understand as the roads were closed all weekend for the air show.staff on reception were lovely and welcoming.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, comfortable venue socially. Extremely satisfied with the atmosphere.

1. Inflexible Check out time somewhat early (which meant I had my breakfast elsewhere, so Hotel lost revenue) Also I reported an obvious fault which had taken place prior to my arrival but instead of waiting until I checked out the guy came early making my check out time even worse!!!! 2. Tiny lifts!! As I'm somewhat claustrophobic, I decided to use the stairs. At my age with multiple health conditions, humping luggage is an unwelcome stress. 3. My room was outside of their Wi-Fi range so virtually unusable!!

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. We travelled on a coach tour and everything was first class. We requested, and got, an accessible room. This large room was on the ground floor, had beautiful curtains around the bay windows, nice furnishings, a wet room and we had a shared space to keep my husband's mobility scooter. The food and entertainment were excellent, a varied menu with plenty of choice and mostly piping hot. Only one day did I get a dish that wasn't hot but it was so nicely presented I ate it anyway. Staff were all very pleasant, mostly Polish or Italian workers who worked their socks off bringing our menu choices to us. If I had one minor negative point it would be that there is no disabled access so a member of staff would come to carry our folding buggy up and down the 4 steps into/out of the hotel for us. Apparently there is a ramp they can put onto the stairs but it wasn't in use during our stay of 8 nights.

A third visit to this hotel and I'm sure it won't be the last. I was in room 218 which was quite a trek from the stairs but did my step count a good service! The restaurant staff certainly need a well deserved pat on the back. The food was excellent with a good choice (you need to be really fussy not to find something on the menu to enjoy), all cooked to perfection by the chef and served by the wonderful waiters and waitresses. We went on the day trip to Rye and Battle in a coach provided by a local company. It said luxury on the side of the coach but was anything but. It was cramped and had highly ineffective air conditioning. We were told by the hotel we would be back by 4pm but the coach company did not pick up until 4 so it was a later return. The morning we left was chaotic. Three coaches, no indication of destination on any and one was parked out of sight of the hotel. It would be helpful if hotel staff were on hand to direct ot at least have notices in the coach window.

1. The shower was more like a dribble 2. The curtains were too thin we had light at night amd from the sunrise. We couldn't sleep at all 3. We asked for a late check out and were met with a no because of their cleaners. The cleaner opened our room at 9.20. Rubbish and frankly disappointed

Well worth a stay at this Hotel Good value for money. Staff very caring. Rooms Clean. Meals were well cooked and Hot. Had a Salad plenty of variety
