Chiado Central Apartment

Great location, easy to Chiado and Barrio Alto.

Loud street, near a busy square, with no air conditioning. We had to leave the windows open on hot days (they do provide 2 basic fans) - glad we brought ear plugs. Be aware this is a 3rd floor walkup. No supplies (ex. Coffee or tea) beyond basic silverware and plates.

It’s not on the 3rd floor- it is really on the 4th floor. So- by the end of our stay, we had stronger legs! There are businesses on the first few floors. But on the 5th floor is a family with babies so you hear them in the morning and we can’t chat while coming up the stairs after 10 pm. It makes total sense-who wants to wake up babies, but something to consider.

I loved everything about this apartment. The street was a bit noisy but there were thick windows and shutters to keep the sound out. Ideal location near excellent restaurants. Very near a Metro station. I felt very safe in this neighborhood and look forward to returning to Lisbon.

Air conditioning might have been nice, but there were several fans. The shower hot water was inconsistent but I figured there was some system I didn’t understand. There was not an elevator but the stairwell was lovely.

Great location, close to everything you'd need. Tram/bus/subway very close to the property. Couple of shops around the corner. Easy to access lockbox, Crib was provided at an upcharge.

Floors creak while walking. Tram line infront of the house, churchbell across the flat rings quite loud. -All not a big deal unless you're traveling with a baby :)

Pontos positivos: As fotos são compatíveis com o local. Realmente muito bem arrumado e decorado. localização excepcional, perto da entrada do metrô Baixa-Chiado e com padarias a menos de 10 metros. Pontos negativos: 1) CALÇÃO CARTÃO CRÉDITO: Eles fazem a cobrança no cartão e após extorno e não somente a retenção do crédito, com isso você para IOF, não sendo possível a devolução, e valor estornado é menor, pois o banco normalmente considera o dólar de”venda” para fechar a transação. Ou seja, com isso perdi a quantia de aproximadamente R$ 100,00. 2) LIMPEZA: Pegamos o apartamento que seria para não fumantes, e chegando o apartamento estava com um cheiro horrível impregnado e não sei se era somente “cigarros”, mas de qualquer jeito era infernal. O que foi feito pela empresa apenas abrir janelas aparentemente. Tive que comprar um desodorizador e utilizar inteiro para tentar deixar suportável. Enfim, mesmo que tenha sido cobrado dos hospedes anteriores uma multa pelo cigarro, nos que arcamos com o “prejuizo” RESUMO: Ótimo apartamento na aparência e organização, todavia perde-se aproximadamente 100 reais (caso você seja brasileiro) por causa do calção e caso tenha algum problema como o relatado perderá demais na estadia.

Lovely apartment in great location

Très bien placé. Bel appartement bien équipé mais il manque une commode pour un long sejour car le placard de la chambre n est pas accessible. Un peu brillant le matin.
