BBQ HUB Ella

We had an amazing experience at BBQ Hub Ella! The hospitality was exceptional — the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even prepared a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The manager, Ashan, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. Highly recommend BBQ Hub Ella for anyone visiting — great food, great people, and a truly warm atmosphere!

Location, ease of access and service from the staff. Emasha went out of her way to keep everyone comfortable and make the stay pleasant.

It was bit outdated and bottom half of the shower curtains in the bathroom was mouldy and slimy. Water was in refilled glass bottle. It had green algae growing in the bottom half. We did not touch the water instead we bought bottled water from the hotel for use. Beds were comfortable. Good lighting and airy. We only stayed one night as we were travelling through.

Die Unterkunft hatte für uns eine großartige Lage, sie liegt in einer Seitenstraße in Ella, sodass sie relativ ruhig war und die Hauptstraße dennoch in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar war. Das Hotel ist ein süßes kleines Hotel, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war das beste, was wir auf unserer Reise durch Sri Lanka in einem Hotel erhalten haben: Toast, Ei, Pancakes, Waffeln, French Toast, Früchte…alles war sehr lecker.

Leider hat unser Badezimmer sehr, sehr muffig gerochen. Wenn man geduscht hat, hat trotz großer Vorsicht das ganze Bad unter Wasser gestanden. Bei dem Trinkwasser, welches auf dem Zimmer für uns bereit stand, war der Deckel und das Innere des Deckels leider verschimmelt. Für uns hat das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hier leider nicht wirklich gepasst.
