The breakfast

1. The door to the room and to the balcony is not sealed properly and therefore, the heat was coming in, mosquitos were able to enter into the room, the smell from the restaurant was invading the room coming both from the doors as well as the window from the bathroom. 2. The air conditioning was very weak 3. The ceiling fan was about to fall over the bed 4. The TV was not working and when reported to the staff, nothing was done. 5. The shower was extremely dirty, the shower curtain was filthy, the basin was loose and not attached to the floor, there were things missing from the walls

Right in the centre of Ella - easy access to main area. Nice room - very modern and quirky.

The hotel was spotless and welcoming, with friendly staff, comfortable and spacious rooms, and a lovely breakfast. The architecture and design were stunning — you can see why it’s won awards. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and enjoyable.

The nearby hostel played music late into the night, which for us (being a bit older!) made it harder to sleep — though it probably wouldn’t bother a younger demographic. Also, the beds were set against the windows without headboards, which wasn’t the most practical, but the overall character of the building more than made up for it.
