Location, breakfast, very clean, had a small drip in bath ceiling, fixed in five minutes of asking, helpful staff

The staff was helpful at night when I checked in, but the morning staff wasn't so nice and helpful

My room had a mold and mildew smell. Given the type of work I do, I thought my mind was playing tricks on me. Nevertheless, I woke up the next morning and went to take a shower I found the mold I was smelling.

Nothing! Very run down, did not look like other Embassy properties! The breakfast was ok, definitely not great!

The girl at front desk was rude! The parking lot under the hotel & the room didn't have sheets for pull out coach. My 3 & 4 yr olds brought me 2 push pin needles they found in the arm of the couch. This place was so bad we booked it for 2 nights & checked out after 1 night!

My stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Park Central Area was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Despite advertising itself as “recently renovated,” the property is severely outdated, poorly maintained, and frankly feels neglected. The entire hotel had a moldy smell, and to make matters worse, I encountered roaches during my stay. Nothing says “quality accommodations” quite like sharing your room with pests. The air conditioning was another disaster. The AC barely worked in the main hotel areas, making common spaces uncomfortable, and the AC in my room was no better. Considering the Texas heat, this is completely unacceptable. The room itself was dirty and showed obvious signs of poor housekeeping. There were stains on the curtains, stains on the floors, and even stains on the bedding. The bathroom looked like it was literally falling apart, and upon arrival there wasn’t even adequate shower soap and toiletries available. The staff somehow managed to make a bad experience even worse. They were both incompetent and rude throughout multiple interactions. I experienced issues with my room door lock. The lock would flash both green and red lights and behave as though the deadbolt was engaged. Instead of addressing the obvious malfunction, staff insisted this was “normal” and claimed the doorknob had simply been installed backwards. After being locked out of my room and making repeated trips to the front desk, I eventually had to demand that someone physically come to the room before they finally acknowledged there was a problem and let me back in. The elevators were another nightmare. One elevator wasn’t functioning at all, and another felt like I was stepping onto a trap door. Every ride felt questionable and unsafe. The surrounding area is also concerning. I never felt comfortable going outside the hotel. The property sits next to a Motel 6 and a La Quinta, and there appeared to be active drug activity occurring at the gas station nearby. It is not an area where I felt safe walking around. Parking is plentiful, but charging $20 per night for it is absurd given the condition of the property and lack of security. The parking fee was never properly disclosed during check-in. To make matters worse, parts of the parking area were flooded. The pool was one of the few things that was somewhat acceptable, although the chlorine level seemed excessive and there were only a handful of towels available. One thing that stood out while researching this hotel is the suspicious review pattern. It often appears that after a negative review is posted, multiple short, generic positive reviews suddenly appear. Based on my experience, the negative reviews are the ones that most accurately reflect the reality of this property. Between the roaches, mold, broken AC, filthy room, malfunctioning locks, failing elevators, rude staff, surprise parking fees, and overall lack of maintenance, this hotel falls far below the standards I would expect from the Embassy Suites or Hilton brand. Save yourself the frustration, spend your money elsewhere, and believe the negative reviews—they are far closer to the truth than the polished marketing photos.

It was ok

At one point, only 1 elevator worked. Parking garage was gross. Room AC did not cool the room. It was set on 60 the whole time and probably didn’t get above 76 in the room.
