Embassy Suites Dallas - Park Central Area

Recently, I went to check in at the Embassy Suites. Upon arriving at the hotel, the receptionist was very rude and hard to hear and immediately told me I had to book through myhilton.com instead of at the desk. I completed the booking online, and when I told her I was done, she asked for the confirmation number. While I was searching through my email, she told the person she was talking to on her cell phone, “Let me call you right back,” as if I was interrupting her personal conversation. Once she found the reservation, she informed me there would be a $20 parking fee, which she said had recently been added. When I asked when that started, she responded that it began last month and that the charge would automatically come off my credit card. At that point, I decided not to keep the reservation. She then told me I would have to go back online myself to cancel it. I asked if she could simply cancel it since she already had the reservation pulled up, but she claimed I would be charged the full price if it was canceled there at the desk. I later found out that information was incorrect. I ended up having to call Hilton Reservations myself to get the booking canceled. The night clerk was unprofessional, dismissive, and seemed more focused on her personal phone conversation than assisting guests. Customer service like this leaves a terrible first impression and made me decide not to stay plus 20 for parking is ridiculous for this area.

The night clerk was not friendly at all, she seem to have a attitude. It didn't say nothing about having to pay to park. Was not impressed with the area with all the drug people walking around the area. The parking garage had water dripping. It did feel safe

The Denver Embassy hotel, I give it 4 stars because it looks, feels, and smells like a 4-star hotel. This Embassy Dallas Park Central Hotel, please don't stay here. The smell, feel, and look are like a 2.5-star motel. If you are telling me it's an Embassy Hotel, you must be joking; if you are telling me it's under Hilton management, you must be drunk. I understand it's after Memorial Day, but the staff are not ready for mass checkout. I want a higher floor, say 6 to 9, but they imply and sound like we only have one room available on a lower floor, and it is what it is. I am a Hilton member and have been using Hilton for a few years. If I come back to Dallas next time, I definitely will not return to this Embassy, and you shouldn't either. There are DoubleTree and Hilton hotels within 15 miles of this location. My strong suggestion to Hilton members, especially, is not to come here. Although we only stay for a couple of nights, I think Hilton should pay us to relocate to nearby Hilton hotels.

The size of the room was nice .. the bed was very comfortable

The parking under ground was confusing but we made it work lol the signs were point one way the other cars were going the opposite but no wreck so it was cool

The property is beautiful and clean!

Staff : one was super low voice couldn’t understand and didn’t really know how to answer questions, second one was rude she was to busy to help and give us full attention there was a 3rd gentleman super helpful sweet. Communication: booking does not say anything about being prepared to pay for parking $20 dollars a day. POOL: a sign said out of order but turns out they just opening at 5 , my kid started a pissy party when they saw people coming out the pool when we tried to go it said out of service for maintenance
