"Unbelievably hot room"

The room was unbearably hot for some reason. It wasn’t a particularly hot day. It was clearly an ongoing issue as they had air conditioning units in the room and all windows open. Nothing made any difference and the staff didn’t seem too bothered. The room should not be made available until they sorted out the issues. We got no sleep. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Lovely overnight stay for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Stayed here before staff are always friendly and the service and food is terrific.

"Lake District stop over"

Friendly and quick check in for overnight stop while passing through Lake District. No problem with dog staying in room. A bit hot in room upstairs.
