The Villa Levens

The bed was very lumpy you could feel every spring in it, the shower was only tepid too, also no elec car charging which is a bit archaic in 2023

Friendly, & attentive staff, a comfortable room and great food. All in a beautiful location.

Lovely old building with high ceilings and well equipped rooms. Staff all very friendly and accommodating. Food very good. Carpets and round the exterior of the windows could have been a bit cleaner, but not bad enough to deter us from booking again.

Myself and three friends had a lovely relaxing one night stay at the Villa Levens. I’ve been twice before and had the same enjoyable, comfortable stay at a reasonable price. Could highly recommend.

The Villa Levens is a beautiful hotel, beautifully restored and remodeled. The breakfast is wonderful, the scenery is amazing and the staff super friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We’ll definitely stay there again if we are back in the area.

Great value stopover on the way to Scotland. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Hotel was god location, 5 miles from Kendal. We stayed one night, food and service excellant.

Good convenient location from the main arterial routes. Great breakfast options. Staff were attentive and gave us a warm welcome.

Very comfortable stay, lovely breakfast. Bed was comfy and room very clean - we have a small dog and the hotel was great and dog friendly

Bathroom is very nice. Bed mattress not so much and our room (15) is above the delivery doors so the delivery at 5am woke us up and the closing of van and kitchen doors can be loud. Might have been less if we closed the window but it would have been too warm specially without air conditioning or even a fan.
