Perfect

Staff were very friendly, Lobby was very grand and old fashioned as to be expected in a manor, breakfast was nice beds were comfy, only thing that was a bit disappointing was the room and decor was a bit dated could of done with a refurbish as it didn’t match the bathroom witch looked new and modern overall we had a pleasant night !

Villa Levens is a beautiful hotel, and well worth a visit. I can't fault the place, and would definitely stay again.

All perfect but was missing a fridge in room

Lovely hotel. We stayed when there was a heatwave. Our room was fairly small but up in the eaves and the room became very hot and despite the portable fan/air con we just couldn’t get the room comfortable. Asked if we could change rooms and there was no hesitation to move us to a ground floor room. Our cases were moved in the afternoon and the staff closed the curtains so as to keep the room cooler. The room was much more comfortable which made for an excellent stay. Staff lovely and helpful, accommodation good as well as the food. Happy to recommend this hotel

Booked for one night, short notice visit to the Lakes and were very pleased with the whole experience, the hotel, the grounds, location, service, food etc! Special thanks to Josh behind the bar and the lady at reception, everyone was very helpful. Having spent a lifetime in big corporate chain hotels, the Villa Levens was refreshing with it's friendly personal service!

Definitely a wedding hotel like many these days, but the room we had was huge, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a very interesting building and charming in may ways. The staff were attentive and the food was good. The windows propped up by sections of log show that some parts of the hotel need attention.

A wonderful hotel full of character and quality.

Greta location, lovely grounds and fantastic building. On arrival, greeted by the friendly reception staff and able to leave bags while we went out for the day. On return, given keys to room, unfortunately the room had the wrong number of beds set up, so was provided another room very quickly. The new room was on the top floor up very steep stairs (I had to carry my older Labrador as she was unable to make it up). On arrival to the room, there was a strong drainage smell (the room window was wide open, so assume this was a known issue). The room was also massively hot (with a stand-alone air conditioning unit in the corner). While we got used to the smell, the heat was an issue all night (the electric went off when we left the room, so the air conditioner didn’t work). So we had a restless night (especially the dogs). We didn’t mention this at the time as we’d had to carry bags, dogs and kids to the two rooms already, so didn’t want another move. Bathroom was big, but shower had a lot of mould and needed a silicon refurb) Breakfast was great, service excellent and very good value for money. Would stay again, but would request a different room (away from the top floor) up front.
