Michillinda Lodge Resort

We did not have breakfast. The location of the lodge is beautiful as are the surrounding grounds. We stayed only one night as our final destination for the weekend was Wolf Lake Ranch, an annual trip we take. As home is about 350 miles away we always stop somewhere between Muskegon and Ludington Thursday night. This year we chose Michillinda and will probably stop here next year as well.

Everything was great. The only thing I would recommend would be Kleenex in either bedroom or bathroom. Although it was not much of an inconvenience for us as we stayed only one night neither of us could make phone calls or send texts. I assume it was due to the remote location. We had breakfast Friday morning in Whitehall and were able to both of those things.

The property and location! Everything was clean. Loved that it felt like "we took a step back in time".

The doors in the annex are paper thin. While this was "to be expected" given the nature of the property - it was challenging to keep the our mid-elementary kids courteous to our neighbors. The annex is NOT suitable for families with small children/ babies.

Well kept, gorgeous lake views, ample amenities

Was unaware there’s no efficiency kitchen in room but it all worked out using chalet facility for our meal prep, and no one else was using it. Annex Room 20 space was very tight for our group, but we went managed and thanks to perfect weather, we were outside a lot.

It was wonderfully relaxing being able to see Lake Michigan from the room. The property was beautiful with many places to view the water. It was a close and scenic drive to Whitehall/Montague and only 1 mile from Duck Lake State Park.

The room needed to be updated, and it smelled musty and old. The bed was way too soft for us. There really wasn’t a beach.

We liked everything, we had a great time, location is great, beach close by awesome view of the lake and sunset! We definitely want to come back.

Great views on the water and nice public patio overlooking the great lake. The drive-in was beautiful with trees over the driveway overall the peaceful warm dated property. Nice family oriented property with activities like shuffleboard, tennis and basketball available in a peaceful and quiet environment.

Hard getting a hold of staff. Layout of the two bedrooms was wonky with both connected, and the bathroom only connected to one bedroom which had to be walked through if used by the other party.
