Travelodge by Wyndham Crescent City

The smelled bad when we walked in and asked if there was something that could be done and they were full. We went and got deodorizer. The worst part was a lamp did not work. We noticed it was unplugged and I plugged it in and it worked. The lamp had a plugin and when my wife plugged in her phone charger she got shocked, we immediately unplugged the lamp. In the morning I tried to talk with someone at the property and nobody was in the lobby or answered the phone. I would not recommend this property due to very poor customer services.

This part may actually be my own fault for not looking closer, but I didn't realize this is a motel, not a hotel. Our refrigerator in our room didn't work-we didn't realize until we were settled in for the night so I didn't notify staff because I didn't want to deal with it. We were only there one night so just went without (we had an ice chest in the car.) The room was clean, but had a musty smell.

Will never stay at Travelodge by Wyndham in Crescent City California EVER again. That hotel "looked clean" on the outside but we were disgustingly surprised when putting our daughter to bed and discovered blood stains on the sheets. My husband also undid his bed and there were what looked and smelled like urine stains on both his sheets. The mattress box also had a huge brown stain. Management didn't really seem to be concerned. We couldn't get a hold of anyone at the reception desk at around 9pm and had to run to Walmart to purchase our own bedsheets which was not in our travel budget nor did we plan on having to provide our own clean sheets, pillows and bedding. Along with dirty sheets, the floors were disgusting, we could feel a thick residue on our socks and feet. We wiped the floor with a napkin and it was black and dirty. Not to mention the stained dirty white towels we had and also had to replace with luckily one I had from home. To sum it all up, this stay at Travelodge was the worst ever. I will be contacting corporate. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!

We were here for a celebration of life, so we we were not looking for fancy, Its clean and quite. It is old, and you do hear alot of outdoor noise cars, dogs, foghorn and traffic. (I have small children noise doesnt bother our family.);Full size soaps available for use in the bathroom, and vanity, being a long haired girly i love this because the small travel size ones are not enough. Staff excellent, friendly. I had no issues. Would return thank you travel lodge for ur hospitality.

Rented a room for my kids who were traveling, and they enjoyed their stay. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. No complaints.

The water in the shower was COLD 2/2 nights we attempted showers. After reporting it to the front desk day #1 we were told they would try and resolve it and to let the water run for awhile. When reporting the same issue on day #2 we were told that due to the unit location the water was "on demand". This was a first.

The room smelled so strongly of bleach. There was black mold in the bathroom. The pillows were hard and the bed was not comfortable. Also it stated on their website and Google that they offered free breakfast. They DO NOT offer free breakfast anymore. So lying to customers is really great. The area just felt dirty.
