Travelodge by Wyndham Crescent City

No smoking signs posted around facility - but all we could smell was cigar and cigarette smoke both at night and in the morning when loading the car.

The staff was very nice and bed was comfortable

While you may be lead to believe that the property has a large breakfast due to pictures showing a large room with food and waffle makers when i went to the property i was told they had to put the picture in there bookings in order to attract customers. the room had a lot of broken furniture including the AC unit which was very loud and had a sound like something inside was grinding on the blades which made it hard to sleep. One of our desks were broken and the chair was in very poor condition.

It was a decent budget motel. Location was good to visit Northern section of Redwood NP. Room was clean and the bathroom looked recently remodeled. The lady at the front desk seemed nice so no real complaints. I had to continue to remind myself that the door to the room opens out into the parking area...so it was really noisey at times, but all in all it was not a bad place to stay.

The location was terrific for our plans. The tile floor in the room and bathroom were extremely slippery for the handicapped person on our party.

The most comfortable bed I slept in from a hotel/motel in a very long time. Good location, comfy room. Everything was clean and updated. I would 100% stay here again.

The lock on the door was broken and started to make a noise like someone was opening our door with the key at 6:30am and woke us up. It freaked us out thinking someone is trying to come in, but it just kept going. Tried to call the office from the provided room phone, which was not attached to cord. Found the cord and plugged it in but it was still broken. Walked to the office and pushed the door bell button few times with no reply. Tried to stop the noise but nothing worked. The cleaning lady cane by but she didn’t know how to assist us. We didn’t see anyone in the office and the noise kept going until we left. Didn’t get any rest after that started and we left very annoyed.
