"Fantastic Hotel"

10.0

Naama Waves is a fab hotel and the all the staff that work there are fantastic and definitely go out of there way to make you feel welcome. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. The pool areas and gardens are kept immaculate. The food was ok (never went hungry) but I'm not one for trying different foods and a lot on the menu was catered more for other countries but was not an issue. Great location and a 10 minute walk if you want to go to the beach or Naama Bay where the bars and restaurants are. A special mention to the main pool man (forgot his name) Hamy, Bob, and the 2 pool bar men and El Bob and our favourite Hossam who definitely made our holiday. We will definitely be back next year!

"A very welcome break"

8.0

This was our first time to Egypt. We enjoyed the break being early on in the year as we were ready for some much needed sunshine and you definitely get it in Egypt. I have to be honest and I say I would rate the hotel 5* but we are of the mindset we are not spending a lot of time in the room so as long as it's clean and comfortable we're happy and it was exactly that. The pool area was noisy at times with very loud music and there isn't an option of a quiet area to relax on your sun lounger but we just went with the flow. The food was ok but the exception for us was the daytime snack restaurant serving tasty burgers, fresh baguettes and it was peaceful! What made our holiday was the staff, never have we experienced such wonderful hospitality, honestly they could do enough for us; even through Ramadan, when the staff must have been hungry, hot and tired the staff were always pleasant and helpful. It was a humbling experience. So a very big thank you to the amazing staff at Naama Waves ❤️

"Amazing holiday, the staff made it!"

10.0

Wow where do I start… This hotel has everything you need. The staff are absolutely amazing 🤩 and LOVE the English. This is the best hotel we’ve stayed in for staff. The bar staff are excellent, the pool staff are really friendly, Hany made our holiday. They literally cannot do enough for you. Mo Salah the bar staff was amazing. Ahmed in the restaurant was great. Location is amazing, just a quick walk over to the sister hotel, down the lift and your onto the main Namma Bay strip with all the shops and bars / restaurants. We took a taxi to El Fanar beach, it was truly amazing, the snorkeling off the jetty was incredible. We also took a taxi ride to the old market, this is a must, it was stunning, the mosque was beautiful. We travelled as a family of 3, our boy was 9. The slides and the wave pool are amazing, the food is also great. We tipped the restaurant staff and they made us fresh breaded chicken fillets every night. There was always something to eat, it’s one of the best hotels we’ve been to in Egypt for food. We don’t normally come back to the same hotels, we like to try different places but we will definitely come back here in the future. Excellent holiday, 5 stars from the Essex Family x x

"Good value for Sharm, great staff."

8.0

We actually went mid March but i couldn't select it.... We booked this hotel due to the good reviews on Tripadvisor mainly and the decent pricing. Advertised as a 5 star, in my opinion this would be a 4 at the most. The hotel is nice and clean with well appointed rooms, huge bed in our double. we didn't have need to use the AC in March although the temps during the day climbed to 30c by the end of our week. The pool area is nice with plenty of space and fixed shades, we had no issues getting a bed, in fact a small tip to Mohammed the pool guy on day one ensured we were well looked after! There is one main buffet restaurant serving a variety of food, i have to say it didn't vary very much and the ''themed'' days didn't really offer much difference, it was OK. Again, the staff in the restaurant were brilliant, very helpful and attentive, a small tip now and again will make sure of that and is well appreciated. A special mention to Amir! Same goes for the car tenders around the pool, i never had to go the bar, great service. The hotel seems to be part of a Russian hotel company so the majority of guests are Russian, we had no issues though. The hotel over the road is accessible to guests and is a route to the beach and town, the facilities are also available to use. Overall we had a nice time, this hotel is smaller than some but the rooms were a good size. The food could do with more variety and the drinks were decent enough. The staff however, if you treat them with respect and show your appreciation they will make your stay a great one, they are this hotels greatest feature.

"Exceptional hospitality provided by the hotel staff"

10.0

The hotel staff were extremely accommodating, excellent hospitality provided especially by Ahmed who worked in the main restaurant. They noticed that my sister would like to leave early to go back to the room, so the staff would keep me company and personally bring my meals to me. The rooms were clean, however I do prefer to take along my own cleaning products so that I can feel more comfortable. The beds and pillows were so cosy and soft, we were on the ground floor so we were able to step out directly on the grounds. The only regret is that we didn't stay for longer, 4 days is not enough. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

"Not the best hotel"

6.0

Stayed here for 10 nights, and while the place is decent, I wouldn’t call it amazing. Some of the staff are genuinely nice, but their English is severely limited, making it challenging for them to comprehend our conversations. The Russian far outnumbers the English here. The lady receptionist, who doesn’t seem to grasp English, was completely clueless when we tried to check in. She even asked us if we had to pay for the rest of our stay, despite us having printed out the documents showing that we had already paid. We were then led to our rooms without any layout or information about the hotel’s amenities. To find our way around, we had to wander the hotel ourselves. Fortunately, we met some English guests who had been there for a few days and kindly provided us with some guidance. The Mexican restaurant was good for lunch. The tuna sandwich & chicken sandwich were the best options in my opinion. However, be prepared for a disappointing shredded beef sandwich. It’s more like smoky ham slices, which was quite amusing. The à la carte allows you to use it only once, forcing you to choose between Italian or Mexican cuisine. You can only book the à la carte between the time of 10am till 2pm which isn’t helpful if you’re down the beach etc. You have to tell them what food you want you can’t choose later on at night when you’re in the restaurant. This was quite disappointing, as we’ve traveled to Sharm El Sheikh many times and never encountered this limitation at other hotels. The main restaurant offers limited food options, so if you’re a picky eater, brace yourself for dishes like chips, chicken, and spaghetti every day. The same applies to the beach, where the choices are equally limited. The main restaurant’s food didn’t appeal to us at all, so ended up eating out most nights, which is something you don’t want when you’re meant to be all inclusive. When it came to good food, we had a few options: Tavern Bar (an English pub), Dananeer, bluestone - you get 10% off your food for being in Naama waves hotel. The hotel rooms are generally clean. Our cleaner was helpful and attentive to our needs. However, the shower had a clogged drain and didn’t drain well and the beds do feel like you’re sleeping on the floor as they are hard mattresses. Apart from that, we didn’t encounter any other significant issues with the room. If you have a walking disability, navigating the hotel can be challenging due to the numerous steps throughout. To reach the beach, it’s approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Fortunately, buggies are available at the sister hotel to assist with uphill travel if required. Additionally, there’s a lift that conveniently saves you going up and down five floors. The hotel offers access to two beaches. One is small, chaotic, and quite noisy. The other is more peaceful and spacious towards the afternoon sometimes in the mornings it was like you was a pack of sardines on the beach. The pool toilets are disgusting they don’t get cleaned and there is never any toilet roll in the cubicles. The men’s toilets hardly ever have had hand soap too. There are only 1 set of steps to get into the pool so if you have difficulty get in and out and your sun lounger is the other side of the pool it’s not very convenient. The pool music isn’t always PG at times playing Central Cee - Doja & Khia - my neck my back 🤣 There are pool tables but they aren’t free you have to pay for them for 1 hour. For a change of scenery, you can visit the sister hotel’s lobby bar and enjoy a drink there. However, their other bar located on the third floor is less inviting. Personally I wouldn’t come back to this hotel as there are far better hotels out there in Sharm.

We have just returned from Sharm el sheikh, staying at this hotel for 7 days. There were 10 of us including 4 children. we genuinely could not recommend this hotel enough the adults and th kids had so much fun. The staff are incredible and so helpful, they were so friendly and helped us with all of our needs. Especially alaa mohammed. The location is also so perfect close to the beach and shopping area. Honestly book this hotel if you are looking for a good time
