Location was excellent. Only 1 block from the Mall and so central to everything else in the city. The view from our room was spectacular especially at night with the city lights.

The room was very tired and looked scruffy, with paint peeling off the towel stand, the skirting boards and wallpaper scuffed and marked, the paint beginning to peel off the ceiling above the shower. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. Almost a dribble. Very disappointing. And the service when we were trying to check out and get our bags to our car was terrible. Not enough staff and just not available. For the hundreds of dollars we spent on the two nights, I was very disappointed. It was for our wedding anniversary and we certainly didn't feel like it was a special place to stay.

How close it is to the shops

The room had a joining door for those who book two rooms. We could hear the children in the next room like they were in our room.

The central location of the Pullman is great, I always stay here when in Melbourne. The Pullman is clean, staff are friendly, amenities are great and the rooms are clean, comfortable and soundproof which is great.

No house cleaning at all. No complimentary water in rooms. The TV didn’t work. No compensation for this and the hotel was 5 star!?
