Edwards Cottage - Grove Road Cottages

Didn’t even go inside, wheelie bins outside the window and front door, which was in desperate need of a coat of paint. Couldn’t see through the windows, too dirty.

Looked dirty, and uninviting.

Clean, well-presented throughout, and was perfect for the four of us! Being in the center of town made it super easy to get around. Easy check-in and we were able to park nearby!

The location was excellent, owner response very Quick, beds comfortable parking instructions fab We could park so close to property. Owners access instructions great. TV in both bedrooms and Netflix available in lounge .

Just lacked a bit of tlc , would have been nice if they had left some milk as most places do. A couple of coat pegs in the hall would be useful.

We loved the location it was so close to the centre so we could walk to everything. We had been worried that we might be kept up at night when we arrived but the traffic had stopped after rush hour and it was nice and quiet. Bed comfy, nice cosy lounge fine for three of us winding down after a busy day being tourists! There was a minor hiccup with the keysafe when we arrived but the host arrived promptly and sorted this out so it was fine!

It wasn't ideal having to find somewhere to park in the nearby streets on a Friday night, but once sorted it was great and fine for us as a group of adults in terms of luggage to the house. Wouldn't be so good if family or elderly staying but then I don't think that is the target market. The fact that the parking, once we found it a few streets away, was free with our permit and that we could walk to everything from the house made up for it. I have seen cleaner bathrooms in holiday rentals but it was OK.

The house is in a great location only a few minutes away from the Rail station. The house was clean and cosy. The photos on here are correct, there were no surprises. The bedrooms were pretty, lovely decor. And beds very comfy, I slept like a log! The historical places are within walking distance, as well as shops and a choice of restaurants. It really is a lovely town, will surely be back 🙂

No complaints, everything was perfect for us. Just what we needed.
