Edwards Cottage - Grove Road Cottages

Everything, had a lovely feel. Owner really helpful. Beds very comfortable and shower hot.

Parking a bit complicated but our fault as we had a few cars between us

The location is great. A 5 min walk to the train station and a 10 min walk to the city centre. Lots of food and coffee options nearby. The place itself is beautiful and has quirky fun decorations and paintings It's also well stocked in essentials. Soap, toilet paper, coffee and tea

This place is dirty. By far the dirtiest place I have ever been in. The bathroom and kitchen are fine, but the bedding was terrible. They had stains everywhere. The duvets and pillows either have no sheet on, or the sheets are also stained. The sofas are disgusting. Massive stains all over them. They have covers on but the covers are also very dirty and smell of feet. We were unlucky too to be there in some very warm days(27-30 degrees). Initially there were no fans, and we couldn't leave half the windows open due to the noise from the road. None of us got any sleep the first night there. On the second day, the host provided us with some fans so it was a bit better. Long story short, go here in a cool month and take your own sheets(some extra for the sofas too if you like to relax and watch TV) and towels. Then it might be a nice and pleasant stay.

Location brill, house had all that we needed and beds comfortable enough.

The cottage was in walking distance to all the main attractions. It was very well presented and cleaned to a high standard. We loved the quirky artwork. Beds were very comfortable and so we had a great nights sleep. Free parking was a bonus! Will book again!

We had couldn't locate the lockbox when we first arrived as it was dark but to be honest we called the owner and this was sorted out immediately.
