"Very Nice Property / Coogee Beach"

Super nice property in close proximity to Coogee Beach. The staff (everyone including front desk, wait staff, bartenders, etc) were consistently friendly / helpful. While we only ate breakfast at the hotel, the quality of the offerings was very good.

Overall excellent hotel. Fantastic view and facilities, staff among some of the best I've seen and dealt with. Slight issues with the lifts but spoke to reception and got a free bottle of wine with me asking for anything. Didn't eat here as breakfast was expensive

"Dated room and overpriced"

We recently stayed for three nights at the CP Coogee Beach. Sadly we were disappointed with the hotel for the prices charged and we had booked months in advance. Warm pleasant welcome on arrival. Initially our room on arrival seemed nice we had paid extra for a pool view. Despite investment in the public areas, our bathroom was clearly the oldest in the hotel if not the resort - dated and in poor condition (319). As we started to unpack aspects of the room were dusty, the bathroom needed a deep clean and replaced and the mini bar and surrounds were dirty, I took photos but haven't uploaded. Breakfast offering was OK however cold items not stored at correct temperature and flies in the restaurant and on some of the continental food items. The coffee service took an age everyday, you actually thought you had been forgotten. Our shower was awful very little or no pressure. The pool area is tiny and can only offer a vending machine or reserved beds from the few that exist. On departure I asked the front office manager if he could arrange a taxi he said if you go the front door you can flag one from the rank... this sums up the standard of this hotel. Whilst the location is stunning this hotel is not to the standard expected or for the prices charged or how they pitch the hotel. We will be staying elsewhere on our next visit!
