InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach by IHG

Beautiful hotel with a great location. The breakfast was the best I have ever had offered at a hotel. The room was very clean the staff was very helpful when needed. Just a great experience.

Great property to be able to enjoy the several walks in the area and the beaches

The staff here were amazing, but the experience could have been better, the initial room was dirty and aircon unit not working properly, so they moved us, which was fine until the new rooms ac failed, so thy upgraded us at no cost which was great. The hotel requires an upgrade which I believe is happening in March this year, so once completed I would expect the overall experience to be much better. I would like to reiterate though that even though we had some issues with the rooms, the staff were extremely professional, nothing was too much, the Manager Roshak was excellent. Location brilliant, beach amazing and couldn't get enough of the Acai smoothies at Oakberry!!!!

My partner and I recently enjoyed a romantic weekend away staying in a beach front room. Check in is very quick and friendly, parking nice and easy paying $50 a night. The view over looking Coogee Beach is spectacular, I could sit on our balcony all day. The rooms are clean, the bed is deliciously comfortable with fabulous pillows. Bathroom is a little tight but the shower makes up for that with a lovely rain shower head, a nice indulgence. Buffet breakfast has everything you desire with very friendly staff to greet you and take your coffee order. Pool area definitely requires more deck chairs especially in the warmer months, we never had the chance to grab an empty one and enjoy the pool area, it was a quick dip then back up to our room. Coogee is a great seaside town that we enjoy visiting with many restaurants, cafes, it has a terrific vibe. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Needed something last minute for two families for an extended stay and this place worked for us all well. Good for younger kids with plenty of activity areas / table tennis/ crafting etc. Christmas rush staff under pressure but squeeze out a smile, our guests room not ready for 5 hours, the pool is a 1960’s motel kidney type small one but all in all a great location on the beach, 2 mins from a pile of fabulous cafes and restaurants and we all had a great stay including using the picnic tables to order in deliveries. Didnt try any hotel food - better value options within minutes

Great location walking to beach restaurants etc. Room clean & tidy. Pool area great & kids club good too.

Stayed here for one night on Christmas night so that we can go to Coogee Beach. Location was excellent literally on the beach, just have to cross the road. Rooms were basic and old but sufficed. The breakfast was great value, and overnight parking was $50. Probably wouldn't say here again, as more used to 5 star hotels, but this wasn't too bad and a good choice if needing to stay at Coogee Beach itself. They did overcharge by adding an extra breakfast (which we already paid for) and I needed to call them to enquire about the charge. They said they would refund it. Still would need to check your credit card as they seem to charge things after you finalised the bill.
