The staff was friendly.

No toiletries, bed was not comfortable, blankets smelled, breakfast not edible.

Title: Worst Hotel Experience – Discriminatory Staff and Unwelcoming Environment I’ve stayed at several Extended Stay America locations and always appreciated their comfort and value, but my recent stay at the Burr Ridge location was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, anywhere. From the moment my girlfriend and I checked in, it felt like the entire staff had already decided we didn’t belong there. We both have tattoos and piercings, but that shouldn’t mean we deserve to be treated like criminals. Throughout our stay, the staff constantly watched us, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was as if they were actively looking for any excuse to get us in trouble or kick us out. One female in particular, seemed determined to catch us doing something wrong, even when there was no reason for suspicion. The anxiety from being profiled and harassed by the staff ruined what should have been a relaxing week. At no point did the manager step in to address the situation; in fact, it seemed like she encouraged this behavior. I felt like we were being punished simply for how we look. To be fair, a couple of my friends were caught smoking in the hotel room, but neither my girlfriend nor I were present at the time. Despite this, we were treated as if we were guilty by association, even though we had nothing to do with the incident. I’ve never felt so unwelcome or unfairly judged at any hotel, motel, or Airbnb. Not modern amenities,no USB outlets to charge devices

Check in was a breeze. Advertisement for rooms - the pictures aren't exactly accurate. I have no complaints since I only stayed 1 night. There's an old cigarette smoke odor in my room. Building could use a little TLC. Other than that it's great for the night and the price.

Quiet hotel. New tvs which were nice. Was told beds were new, thet were somewhat hard. Most of the staff was very pleasant.
