Extended Stay America Suites - Chicago - Burr Ridge

Staff was great. Cleaning people were very nice and the lady who checked me and my son in was super sweet.

You can tell they are making great changes to the hotel slowly. Great location staff was definitely friendly and amazing

This was a great location near Chicago Midway. I arrived after midnight but they were able to accommodate my check in. Parking lot was well lit and felt safe enough. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is in need of renovation but it’s kept clean and provided a comfortable night’s rest.

The room smelled like a wet dog, the carpet was filthy and moist, the bed was hard and the breakfast consistent of oatmeal packs, bars, mini muffins and coffee. They discounted the room by 50% cause they couldn't move us due to them being full because of an event. I would never stay there again!

It was nasty

Most of the week, the elevator had issues, with people getting stuck in the elevator several times. Which I understand things happen.

The elevator was broken/unserviceable for 2 days during our stay, so we had to use the stairs & carry our luggage up to our room on the second floor which was a slight inconvenience The cable in our room did brocade local Chicago Cubs baseball games during our stay, which would have also been nice to watch especially since the hotel is so close to Chicago.

Classic case of an outdated hotel asking for modern prices. Dirty toilets , missing doors on cabinets and rigged up outlet fixtures. The list can go on and I wish I can post the pictures i took!!!!!!!

The hotel was nice; our room was clean. The breakfast is a joke, it was only muffins, granola bars, coffee and hot tea. When we checked out there was no one at the front desk and when we say "hello" someone calls out and ask if we were checking out and told us to put our room cards on the desk, no one came out to talk to us or even made sure we were turning anything in. I could have left with whatever and no one would have noticed it. I would not stay here again.
