Location

They charged me extra for the breakfast. On the bookings it said breakfast is on the house. We were 4 people and on site they told us its only for 2 although its not mentioned anywhere on the booking. I had booked for 4 so I expected breakfast for 4. They took the security deposit and still have not paid back. Yesterday called them and said will look into and asking intricately and giving such an answer that it seems like a very difficult thing to return me my security deposit.

Right on the river! Clean and not too outdated. Breakfast was phenomenal!!!

Our room didn’t have a plug for charger for phone. Had to go get a plug in box.

"Great location"

Such a great location on the Riverwalk! The hotel said it was fully booked but we never felt crowded. Elevators were quick, property was clean, and the room had great views of the river. We had a family room which was spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. Walkable to so many restaurants and activities. Plan to stay here on our next trip back to Chicago.

"Great Location for Chicago Sites"

We stayed here for two nights and I was impressed with this hotel. Our room was spacious and did have a mini refrigerator. I read another review that said they did not have a refrigerator and I thought that was odd. So I am happy to report there is a refrigerator . The only real problem with the room is that the toilet is so low to the ground it seems like it was installed for a kindergarten class. Many seniors may have trouble with this low seat. This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of space. The lobby is large, the bar is large, and the exercise room is large. The hotel is on the Chicago River and easy to identify when you are walking the streets trying to find your way. The location is perfect for walking to the miracle mile, Navy Pier, or the river walk. There is a breakfast buffet on a lower level but it is quite pricey. Next to it is a small market with Starbucks, yogurt parfaits, breakfast sandwiches, etc. There is decent sized pool on level 7 with nice views of the river below. I really liked this place and next time I come to Chicago I hope I can stay here.
