Rancho Bernardo Inn

From the moment I pulled into the valet area to the time I left the property, my overnight stay at the Rancho Bernardo Inn to attend the San Diego Women's Week Leadership Conference hosted by the North San Diego Business Chamber was nothing short of magical. While my daughter-in-law checked into her room, I joined a colleague for a drink in the Avante bar (highly recommend the refreshing Jalicso Roots!) I then joined my daughter-in-law for a quick dinner - we shared a Parker House Roll (YUM!), the crispy brussel sprouts, and the local ahi tuna. Thank you to the amazing bar tender on duty that night who treated us as if we were the only customers there. We were not. My room on the 1st floor of the 600's building included a private patio with a firepit and both white roses and pink jasmine were in full bloom. The building dedicated to the conference was beautifully decorated, the staff supporting the event were both present and invisible. A special touch of the day was seeing several emerging and seasoned women leaders from the Rancho Bernardo Inn attend the leadership conference. The day included a beautiful lunch on the grounds across from the conference room. My vegetarian option of curried cauliflower was one of the most delicious dishes I've eaten at any 4-star property around the world. My only regret was not taking note of the names of the many RBI employees who made sure that I experienced 5-star service regardless of who was watching or how busy they were. Can't wait to return to take advantage of the spa while my husband enjoys the golf course which is part of his favorite JC Resorts properties!

Rancho Bernardo Inn is such an amazing hotel. I stayed here recently and the service was absolutely outstanding. Benjamin, the hotel manager, truly went above and beyond to make sure we loved our stay and were completely happy with our room. There is also a great casual restaurant on site with really delicious food. Our waitress, Wendy, was so kind and attentive. She made sure we were enjoying everything and took great care of us throughout the meal. And if you enjoy golfing, they also have a beautiful golf course!

Big, comfortable room with lovely surroundings, lots of trees, traditional architecture with many fountains, friendly and helpful staff

Bathroom a bit awkward and dated

We were privileged to host a wedding at RBI, my 2nd son married his beautiful bride. The staff, the settings, the food, the friendliness of the staff and attention to detail was exceptional! The only reason I gave 4 vs 5 to sleep quality was bc my room DID have shutters but no black out capability. And bc I had my thoughts racing - kinda broken sleep, I truly wanted to zzz in the morning after their lovely late night wedding and reception. Truly just likely a mistaken room number, but at 7:45am a hotel employee unlocked my door and flipped on the lights? I’m guessing someone else closeby scheduled that (not me..lol) Otherwise, truly awesome.

This place is very beautifully placed and managed. clean and well managed with excellent staff. Veranda patio is best place to have dinner

Ben, hands down, was so kind and helpful. He really went the extra mile to make my trip smooth. I usually don’t write reviews but he made my stay 10/10. Thank you Ben at Rancho Bernardo! I’ll be back for sure!!

Expansive property with several pools and garden areas that all feel private and secluded. Restaurants were excellent.

Spa services were beyond great but the spa itself was small and in bad shape. The massage was full priced but the women’s spa area were extremely small and in need of a major upgrade. The shower was not clean and the hot tub didn’t work.

Stayed here for work and the place was great. Beautiful hotel and so nice to walk around. The food at the restaurant was sooooo good!

Nadia, hostess at the Veranda, is wonderful Jen and Dylan at the Cafe are helpful, kind, and personable.
