Rancho Bernardo Inn

We are giving this 2 stars because it does not in any way live up to the prices that they charge for a room. Yes, the inn itself is beautiful, but once inside the room, we found that things were pretty bare-bones. One small bar of soap (for 2 sinks and a shower), one robe (for 2 people), zero complimentary bottles of water ($11 bottles were available). These are the kinds of things we expected for a room (not a suite) that cost $450 for one night, so we were surprised to see the hotel be stingy with little things like that. On top of that, they charged us $40 to park when there was a huge open parking lot. Why charge hotel guests for parking when there is plenty of space? One more way to rip us off. There are few other options available in the area, which is probably how they get away with their ridiculous charges. We would not stay here again. Not worth it at all.

Had a wonderful stay the week before Christmas at Rancho Bernardo Inn. We just loved all the beautiful Christmas trees and had a fantastic experience with all the staff. When we first arrived Ashlynn helped us get checked in and actually upgraded us to a room with a fire pit. While we waited my ten-month old and I went to Veranda restaurant and everyone was so kind from the wait staff to the member of the IT team that offered to walk us in the right direction when we got turned around. I also had a facial on the trip, which was excellent! Lastly, my son was a very early riser with the time difference so walking around the gorgeous grounds in early morning walks was a huge plus! Definitely recommend and hope we can come back.

Liked the golf view, AVANT, cafe, veranda , Xmas events, secure area, staff. Area Golf course choices. One of our favorite resorts.

Parking situation for hotel guests is difficult as they share with golfers. Not enough spaces

Nadia was the hostess who worked hard to seat our large group together at the restaurant. She was kind, patient and quick. We saw her every night of our 4 night stay. It was a pleasure to know she would be helping us.

Had a good time staying at the hotel! The property is beautiful, room is a little bit dated but had a gorgeous view of the golf course. The golf course is beautiful, resort fee covers driving range access as well. Special thanks to Jay at the Golf shop! Took a lesson with her it was super helpful and a lot of fun.

First time staying at this fabulous property and every family member had an amazing experience! The entire RBI staff was very accommodating and welcoming from the second we checked in until our departing day. Location was in a very quiet neighborhood which was a mile away to amenities if needed. Extremely impressed with the resort, our room was at the Greens building with a beautiful view of the 10th hotel. Room was pristine with all the right luxurious touches. Husband had an early tee time and said the whole process of checking in for tee time was utterly seamless. He keeps raving about the course he said not a blade in the grass was out of place :) Visited the cafe/coffee shop excellent latte drinks and pastries. Had breakfast at the Veranda Fireplace sat outside under the gorgeous weather! Food was smashingly delish...extra points for those potatoes! Wasn't able to take advantage of the spa due to our busy schedule which was my only regret but will definitely do it next time. Wish we could've stayed longer!

When we are in town we always stay at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The property is unique and the grounds are gorgeous. The outdoor patio is a must for meals especially at night with the band playing.

Comfortable room with lovely view, nice bath tub separate from shower, great service. Nice breakfasts & golf. Bar so so service and food, but lovely outdoor seating, music and good drinks. We would have loved to have tried the main restaurant.
