The staff was amazing and let us check in early to get ready for a wedding. Jareeka was Especially helpful! The breakfast was delicious the next morning.

want to take a moment to recognize Jaylen, a manager at The Westin, for his truly outstanding customer service. From the moment we encountered challenges with check-in and room assignments, Jaylen stepped in with professionalism, care, and an incredible attention to detail. What could have been a frustrating experience was completely turned around because of his willingness to go above and beyond to make things right. Jaylen didn’t just fix the issue—he made sure our entire stay felt comfortable, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. His level of care, responsiveness, and commitment to excellence did not go unnoticed. Because of him, what started off rocky turned into a wonderful experience, and we truly had a great time at The Westin. His extraordinary service is exactly what keeps guests coming back. Thank you, Jaylen, for going over and above—you made all the difference.

Our room was never cleaned while we were there. In the second day I walked in to grab something while housekeeping was in there, she walked out and never came back.

Уборка никакая, только застилали постель и меняли полотенца. Никакой влажной или сухой уборки. Мебель очень грязная, я на диван постелила полотенце, так и сидела . Грязный ковролин.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, but it will not suit the majority perhaps. In terms of positives: it is spacious, with a lovely pool and reasonable amount of sunbeds and seating; punctuated with several large Iguanas sharing the space! Our room was biggish (as was the tv!), with a large, nice shower (albeit challenging to regulate the temperature!). On that note, the room temperature can be very cold, but easily rectified by using the touchscreen controller. It was really great to get a regular supply of water and coffee, etc; pity there was no tea! Some will appreciate the 'complimentary' glass of wine with an evening meal in the hotel restaurant. We tried and enjoyed In terms of negatives, the hotel is really isolated for those, like us, without a car! However, there are some eateries within walking distance: but rather mixed! And the road you need to cross is not for the fainthearted!! NB. There is another Westin hotel which is much more central: don't get confused! If, like us, you are staying at the hotel prior to a cruise, be aware that the 'cruise- traffic' is horrendous (from anywhere within a few miles of Port Everglades, so leave LOADS of time to get there!!).

Wow does this hotel fall short of expectations. It’s even worse that you can’t proactively post a review on Marriotts website but have to wait to receive a guest satisfaction survey. Since I’m currently sitting in this disappointing hotel, I’ll get ahead of it. Absolutely date and completely worn/beat up rooms. Wood panels, slat doors, chipped tile, terrible satellite tv that glitches constantly, stained furniture, damaged walls and baseboards - should I go on? This hotel has seen better days and is in severe need of an update. No robes or slippers in the rooms either, seems like an easy upgrade. Front desk staff were fine but slow and not overly friendly. Restaurant was sticky and overpriced. Location is the only thing that this hotel has going for it. As a platinum guest who travels frequently, this Westin is not worth it. Go to the AC a block down for a newer experience.
