The Westin Resort Guam

Beautiful property. Comfortable beds.

We came for New Year’s Eve. We were surprised with a charge when we got there for the first room that was not included in booking. Then we ate at the restaurant and it cost me over $100 more than what was advertised. Then I was told we got to go to the pool party for free because we got a room and ate at the restaurant but were told I had to pay extra for my kids. This ended up being an extremely costly trip. Did not enjoy breakfast. Looking for breakfast meats or potatoes and not understanding the lunch meat and salad area for a breakfast.

This property is extremely dated and dirty. Property: Outside needs a good scrub and paint, all the balconies, walkways and railings are rusted and/or chipped paint. Room: glass and windows are completely fogged over so good luck enjoying the waterfront view you paid extra for. No coffee station, water bottles or basic amenities in the room. Shower tile grout was gross, out of shampoo and conditioner. Only saving grace was the heavenly bed. Outdoor pool and beach area: mold and dirt everywhere, more than half the chairs are ripped or broken, insufficient number of chairs, towels and bar aren’t open until later. Free parking is a plus. Lounge options are basic but inconsistent day to day. They have cute bowls and trays for kids. Total let down for a Westin, and frankly for all Bonvoy property types. Glad we were only here one night.

When this property was built, it must have been a show stopper. Fantastic location on the bay where we went out every day of our stay to snorkel and sun bathe. The water is so clear that the fish are easy to see even without the snorkel masks — don't miss wading out to the shallow area near the rocks for a fest for the eyes! The food was nothing special, but we didn't go hungry and the offerings were varied enough that there is something for everyone. Typical bar offerings at the pool bar were as expected, and the pool area was nice although there were never enough chairs. If the physical property itself were up to snuff, our stay would have been much more highly rated. However, the property is decidedly not the typical Westin level. As mentioned at the start, it was probably amazing back in the day. But in THIS day, it's so dated that it really impacted the feel of the stay in a negative way. Flaking paint, water stains, worn carpet, broken beach chairs, non-functional bathroom stalls, you name it. Worst of all was the mattress — an important amenity for Westin's brand image — which should have been replaced a decade ago. The center "trench" was pronounced and impossible to avoid.

Loved the beach and the its easy access. Services were great.

Superb staff members. Highly-trained, respectful, welcoming and friendly. The Westin offers the best view in Guam. Amazing beach and pool. Excellent food and facilities, including a well-equipped gym.

Stayed here for a week this past month. Good pool with easy access to the beach. Ran into an issue with our room but Manager Jason was able to help us with the situation.

The Westin Resort Guam is a great hotel. It is a beachfront property. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. We got to use the Executive Lounge Floor on the 21st Floor as we are Marriott Bonvoy Elite Members, we also enjoyed breakfast at Taste as part of our membership. The beach is located on the 1st floor, while the lobby reception is on the 5th floor. They also have water dispensers and ice machine on every floor.
