Hyatt Place Richmond Arboretum

The Good: Overall, we had a good stay at the Hyatt Place Arboretum. Great Location. The hotel does the basic things well, and the cleaning staff deserves a shoutout—they did a great job keeping everything clean and tidy throughout our visit. The Bad: The breakfast, however, was very subpar. The hotel used a local NSDA (National Speech & Debate Association) tournament as an excuse for not refilling the breakfast stations. Even with a large group staying at the hotel, the staff didn't make a noticeable effort to keep up with the demand or manage the refills frequently, which left a lot of guests frustrated and hungry. Verdict: The hotel itself is decent but could definitely use some upgrades to freshen things up. If you're staying here, it's a solid, clean choice for the basics, but don't count on a great breakfast experience if there's an event in town.

En el desayuno la señora que estaba atendiendo trataba de muy mar gusto y cuando le pregunta an por algo respondia de muy mar genio y le pedia permiso alas persona y era de forma muy inapropiada

Nice modern hotel. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Pleasant staff. Only negative is having to pay a $9 per day fee to park in the lot on which the hotel is located. Felt this was yet another way for the hotel make money from their guest.

Location was good. Staff was polite and helpful.

Breakfast not many options. Also the beds weren’t that clean. Bed sheets were old.

Paid more for this room than any other in town because there was a bar and restaurant and it was Hyatt. So....the bar doesn't serve anything not in a can or bottle, the restaurant is non existent, there may be a guy behind the wall cooking but we could never order, whe I asked why housekeeping didn't bring me towns they said I had to request housekeeping daily if I wanted it and they charged me $9 a day for parking in an open air parking lot. What a waste, I'd have been better about anywhere else. The room was big and ok thought so I gave an extra star

Quiet , comfortable and close to good eateries.

Awesome rooms, well-appointed breakfast. Restaurants were within walking distance. The VA hospital is 15 minutes away
