The location is excellent in the centre of the town. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Tea and coffee facility in room was good.

We booked Seth (room name) and, to be fair, it WAS made clear in the booking notes that the room is small in the eves. But crikey! They really mean it! Tiny with one spot to stand up straight! The bathroom is too small for a shower. So it’s a wet room. May have thought twice if I’d known that. Sadly, for a property that calls itself a hotel, bar and restaurant… we were informed on arrival that there was no food available, dinner or breakfast. And the bar and public rooms have to close at 7pm ish as the neighbours don’t want the noise. Really should let people know that before they let you book.

Nice clean room, good location, staff informative and helpful

Not a fan of wet room Ive decided. Sink not designed to be filled! Bed not the best for comfort. Pub closed extremely early even for residents.

Ideal location for us walking through on a long distance walk. Booked at short notice

The narrow ladder to reach the second bed on the mezzanine floor. Not so good for a 70+ year old.

Friendly staff and regular customers. Great Central location .

Would love to eat there of an evening

Very comfortable place to stay. far quieter than expected since bar closed at 21.00. Parking was very easy immediately in front and is legal and free from 17.30 to 09.30 - a real bonus.

Beautiful room with comfy bed. Tea making facilities. An iron and hairdryer a huge plus. Bar downstairs had lovely food and wine. Sleepy village with nice view of church

Parking was hit and miss so if you have disability you may need to park and walk around 5 mins. Would be great to have a lock box for the keys with a pin as check-in finishes very early
