"It’s a fine, character property."

Great position in centre of Beccles opposite the church. Individually decorated rooms with character.

The bar closes very early on Sunday evening so no time for a night cap after 8.30/9pm.

Comfy room

No soundproofing at all, I could hear the guest in the room below if they sneezed 🤧 telephone conversations etc This is my pet peeve and would have been excellent all round if not for this issue. But they're not alone. I have stayed at a few places via Booking.Com where the lack of soundproofing is an issue.

"Peaceful stay in a lovely old inn with all the modern conveniences."

Lovely historic inn in the center of old Beccles. Easy walk to everything including the bus stop and train station. We booked the family room. It was immaculate, comfortable, well-furnished, and spacious. Staff were friendly and attentive to our personal needs. Excellent food and drinks in the ground floor pub. Highly recommend!
