"Good"

It's a lovely building and my room was cosy. It had all one needs including coffee making facilities, TV, heating and bathroom. A young lad was very kind, courteous and helpful.

I didn't like having to watch not banging my head all the time because of the sloping roof and beams in awkward places. I didn't like the way the shower was positioned: it would make the whole bathroom/ toilet and everything in it soaking wet, so I decided against using it. I was not welcomed very nicely. The woman who checked me in, did this in a very cold way. She made me feel like a nuisance. All she had to tell me was rattled off at breakneck speed without a smile or any warmth. The lack of parking is an absolute NO! You can leave your car there for an hour only. Then you have to find somewhere else until 6 PM. Then it's allowed there until 9 AM but then you have to move it again. An absolute nuisance. I had specifically requested a room either ground or first floor because of knee arthritis. However my room was at the top, two awkward flights of stairs. When I mentioned this, she said it was nothing to do with her as everything is arranged through booking. com.

I know this is out of control of The Swan but the bins being emptied at 3am!!!!

"The room was very airless."

Good location and nicely decorated room.

Very stuffy with no way to open the windows.Felt oppressive.The room was very Wet room looked lovely but very impractical as its too small.

"Disappointed that our stay essentially comprised a room with no entertainment facilitites and no bar"

The room was a reasonable standard, albeit a little quirky.

No food available, including breakfast. No working wi-fi and no explanation given as to why. The TV was very poor and rendered the equipment unusable. There was no on site management representative to resolve any issues after 20.30.

beautiful room

unfortunately i had to have an early night and the noise from the bar was very loud. The tv reception was very poor also fresh water and milk for tea the following morning would have been nice
