Room was very clean. Bed & pillows very comfortable. Good location in centre of town.

Parking - none available when we got there. The man I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and professional, but the lady who showed us to our room was quite abrupt.

Beautifully decorated historic room, with massive walk-in shower and real attention to detail. Sadly, I couldn't stay overnight as I had to leave to attend to an emergency at home. Very friendly lady on check-in.

Though I didn't stay, the noise from the bar was a bit loud in the room (predominantly music, which I assume would have continued until closing time). This would have been a problem as I didn't take ear plugs. Sadly, the inn also didn't serve food, which was a shame. No guest parking either - public spaces directly outside are first come first served and only 'free' from 5.30pm until the following morning. Just a bit of a faff if there isn't a free space and you have baggage, as you get taken around the one-way system. Might be a problem in the summer months when it's busier.

Lovely bar area Lovely unique rooms I have stayed in the Williams room and that was perfect, was a little disappointed with the recent room, not as comfortable bed and no bath, ally smaller I didn’t realise, but will book again and now know the Williams room is the one to book.
