"Early 1900s romance and customer service "

This was a step back in time to early 1900s romance and customer service. The staff was exceptional the room beautiful and our stay very enjoyable. So thankful for the suggestions from staff on places to eat!

Cool boutique hotel in downtown Birmingham, stayed in the Vulcan suite. The room was as spacious and well-appointed. The location is good, with several restaurants and bars as well as the Alabama Theater and Lyric a few blocks away. Was disappointed there was no coffee maker or mini-fridge. It is a small hotel (less than 10 rooms I believe) so check-in is with the building manager (very easy) but only self-parking is available in a deck next door, which was included in the room cost.
