The Bull Hotel

There was a woman running the bar / restaurant / check-in desk that was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made us feel very welcome. The food and drink were both reasonably priced and main meals were good sized portions.

Unfortunately there were a lot of issues during our stay. -Room wasn’t clean upon arrival (eg sand and broken crisps on the floor). -Bed was very uncomfortable (old, tired mattress) and only a small “double” so we barely slept a wink during our entire stay. -No hot water at all when I wanted a shower (between 7am & 7.30am). -Housekeeping never cleaned the room during our stay nor replaced the towels, despite a sign saying to leave dirty ones in the bath for exactly that purpose. -Room was uncomfortably warm and small fan didn’t make much impact. -Minor gripe… Parking was very limited and seemingly overwhelmed by regular pub users. I can forgive a couple of things, but given it cost us well over £100 a night it’s not acceptable for it to be such an uncomfortable place to stay.

Ideal for a stay in a nice little town, bed was a bit too soft for me.But I like a extra firm bed as my preference. Room was nice & spacious, and Bathroom was spacious too. Lovely walk in the morning to the Dingle. shops are 2 seconds away so perfect location.
