Friendly staff and good food in the bar/restaurant . Free car park. Big bedroom for a family room.

Bit overpriced for the dated room. Very small shower. Not the hotels fault but we overlooked a very noisy bar/pub opposite with drunken behaviour, swearing and singing until way beyond midnight. It was a Saturday, but be aware if you get a room overlooking the main street.

Large room, clean. Decent tea and coffee facilities. Nice bathroom and shower and toiletries

Beds hard, sheets scratchy, noisy inside hotel (doors banging) and outside - clock tower chiming every hour all through the night. Breakfast was poor quality.

It should absolutely state in the listing that t he hotel is very close to a pub disco that Friday and Saturday nights is a thumping banging shout fest.
