The Bull Hotel

Nice old building with charm. Room was clean. Good atmosphere in the bar.

Noisy room facing the main road. Lots of drunk locals leaving the local pubs in the early hours. Bed was not very comfortable. We were asked if we wanted breakfast when we checked in. We were told that no one else had booked it and the staff could have a lyin if we didn't want it also. How could we say yes!?

Great place to stay, hotel is interesting outside and in. The rooms are motel style so can park car near room a bonus. The rooms had everything you need. The staff were great

Like someone else said wait quite a while for hot water to come through and the second day it kept going cold.

Charmant hôtel qui donne l'impression d'être dans une maison de famille. La chambre est grande. Le personnel est très gentil. Possibilité de manger sur place.

The room was huge, it was very old fashioned which we expected and liked the charm it had. The room and the adjacent bathroom were spotlessly clean. Drinks facilities in the room were a bonus.

For us the location wasn't great, nothing family friendly within walking distance, only very noisy bars and takeaways. The noise from the pub across the road kept us awake til late on both nights we stayed with our 4 year old, however aware this may not be a problem for young people / couples etc. The car park was also full on both evenings so we had to pay to park the car in the car park outside the town hall and remember to move it before 8am each morning.

het eenpersoonsbed op onze driepersoonskamer was echt versleten. Veren stonden 's morgens in mijn schouders.

Fantastic location, the staff couldn’t have been better genuinely nice people, rooms fantastic, just have to wait a good 5 minutes for hot water

The location of the place is excellent, check in was easy enough, the staff i dealt with were good,

I booked a superior single room for 2 nights £178, well there was nothing superior about it, and very disappointed, what I got was like a run down broom coupbord that I think they must use as a overflow room when there booked up because there's not even a room number on the door ,the cleanliness of the room was shockingly bad, crumbs down the side of the panelling at the side of the bed along with alot of hair! Crumbs in the carpet, stains i don't even want to imagine what body part they came from,The sheet around the bed base is obviously dirty, cobwebs on the walls, bathroom sink was dirty on arrival with hair included for good measure, all this is obvious hygiene and cleanliness problems that could be solved very easily. The tea making facilities i was going to use until I opened the kettle up and saw the mould that was in there along with how dirty the kettle was in general
