Vuyani Safari Lodge

This stay was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Everything — the lodge, the beautifully designed interiors, the outstanding service, and the wonderful staff — exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. Our room was tidied several times a day, which wasn’t even necessary but showed how much care the team puts into their work. The safaris were magical, even though part of the reserve was still closed due to recent flooding. Both the driver and tracker went above and beyond to make every game drive unforgettable.

The only small suggestion we have would be to provide a central tip box. We would have loved to give something to everyone — waiters, room service, wake-up staff, cooks, trackers, drivers, and those working behind the scenes — but it’s quite difficult to hand out tips individually. A shared box would make it easier to thank the entire team equally.

It is over priced, and the small details , the not picking up on. We stayed in lots of lodges , and the standard here was not great.

The hotel is fantastic, with excellent staff—very polite and helpful. The food is very good, and the facilities are amazing. The room was exceptional and always spotless.

I’m not giving a 10 only because we felt that our game drive driver was a bit rude to us on the first day. He didn’t give instructions before we started, and when we apparently did something wrong (which we didn’t know), he reprimanded us in a rude manner. All the guests present agreed with us when we talked about it afterward. Additionally, he didn’t seem very patient or enthusiastic when explaining about the animals. We spoke with the responsible manager only on the second day, and she was amazing—very caring and concerned about us. On the third day, she changed our driver, and with just one drive it was clear that the new one was much better and more polite. I won’t mention names so as not to expose anyone here.

Breakfast was lovely good selection of food and nice to have a hot breakfast cooked on request fresh. Favourite part was the am and pm safari drives.

Preferred if going to dinner you had option to stay in for quiet room service if you didn't feel like dining with lots of people.

the room was cold at night so we couldn't sleep well

We loved the size of the land it was huge and felt like being in a mini Kruger.

It wasn't a deal breaker but meals were selected for us and it would of been better if we could of had more options, but overall wasn't a deal breaker.

Além da própria acomodação (estrutura, limpeza), a equipe era extremamente prestativa, os Rangers empenhados em nos proporcionar uma ótima experiência, e ver o máximo de animais. A comida era ótima e bebida inclusa. Também organizam os carros e as mesas em que sentamos para as refeições de forma que proporciona interação entre os visitantes, o que faz a experiência ainda mais especial.

Achei um pouco excessivo as camareiras entrarem no quarto 3 vezes ao longo do dia. Mas entendo como um cuidado e vontade de agradar. Poderia ser dada a opção de não tocarem a toalha diariamente, por exemplo.
