Hawaii Resort Phu Quoc

My bungalow was beautiful on the beach. The beach was gorgeous. The staff was fantastic. The grounds could use some upkeep around the pool. The tiles are broken. The front entrance could use some upkeep, but they are working on the units and trying to make an effort a great place to stay Wasn’t crazy about the breakfast, but dinner was good.

Beachfront hotel was the only benefit and plus point that I can tell

The overall experience was very bad. To start with we book two rooms , one 3 bedded and another was a double bed. We didn't know that both rooms were in two different blocks altogether wland far apart. When we checked in at night to the 3 bedded room, the TV was not working at all. When asked the front staff, he told us to come back tomorrow morning to check with day staffs but after making some noise and demanding to change room, only then he decided to give us another room. There are loads of sandfly in the bathroom with water stagnation and bad smell. The room overall is rusty and the entire hotel in manned by one staff at the counter in the morning and one at night. Breakfast was bad with very limited choice and topping up food or coffee must be told to them, or else they won't bother. Timing of breakfast also is from 6.30-9.30am and by 9.30am, they won't tell us any last call but they will remove the food straightaway.

The fact that our bungalows were 5m. away from the beach is incredible

It’s close to the beach. The hotel is old but very clean.

Cigarette smell everywhere. They allow people to smoke on the rooms floor and smoke coming into the room as well sometimes. I am highly allergic and have nowhere to hide from smoke.
