Convenient and clean

Was a little tired looking but served my purpose

Nothing to like about this property.

Signage not visible, telephone number not working, check in time is 11pm latest and at 9.40pm I was told that was too late to check in, unstaffed, couldn’t get hold of staff. When I eventually got hold of staff on ring door bell very rude, walked into bad smell, urine smell and wet stains on carpet. This establishment is a health and safety hazard and should not be on booking.com. I am sure if local authorities were to inspect these premises this business would not be able to carry on advertising itself as a hotel. Beyond poor, even giving it a rating of 1 out of 10 is beyond generous.

I have submitted a request for a full refund, I've had no response in 4 days. Here is an extract:The accommodation was not as described, unhygienic, and not fit for occupation on arrival. We left immediately and secured alternative accommodation. From arrival, there were serious problems. We were not provided with the access code in advance and had to call to obtain it. Apartment keys for Flat 1 and Flat 2 were left together in one lockbox with no clear signage, which resulted in us mistakenly entering an already-occupied room. This was extremely distressing and represents a significant safety and privacy failure. Once we were directed to the correct apartment, it became clear that it did not match the listing in any way. None of the photos shown on Booking.com represented the apartment we were given — including the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, or front door. The condition of the apartment was unacceptable. Issues included: Strong, unpleasant odours in both bedrooms and a bathroom smell consistent with long-standing urine Visible mould on kitchen window frames Dirty cups and glasses that appeared to have already been used, only 3 cups proved after requesting a kettle No plates, cutlery, or clean kitchenware despite the listing stating the apartment was fully equipped Only enough towels for one person, despite four guests A filthy, pitted sofa Grime on cupboard handles and surfaces A door off its hinges and a detached radiator propped in the hallway No refrigerator in the apartment we were allocated When I informed the owner, at the point of returning the keys, that we were leaving due to cleanliness, missing amenities, and misrepresentation, I was told the issues could be rectified that evening. However, these were not minor housekeeping oversights.

Street address provided is not the location of the parking - no information provided as to the location of the parking as part of the booking. When I arrived I was met by a child who told me to move my car so they could play football in the car park which is not acceptable when this is the allocated parking area. They continued to play football very close to my car all evening which I did not appreciate. The water pressure was approximately zero and the hot water wasn’t especially hot. One of the towels was dirty and one of the chairs had stains on it.

Really like staying here. The location is just right, the rooms are warm, dry and always very clean. Folk working there are really friendly and helpful. It is really god value for money.

There are only two things that'd improve it - milk or a small fridge in the room; and - a light at the front door so you can see what you're doing when unlocking.
