The bed was comfy and the building was in a good location

We had an 'unpleasant' present left in the toilet. The carpet was very stained and the shower curtain needs binning. The sheets and towel had stains on them too though they had been washed.

It was absolutely freezing!! NO heating at all in my room. I asked for it to be looked at and they sent someone who didn't speak a single word of English who looked utterly clueless. It wasn't a convenient time as I was getting dressed so I asked the owner if they could look at it whilst I was out after 10.30am. They didn't, so it was another freezing cold night and morning. I then just got more excuses and meaningless apologies, the owner pointed out that the rest of the building was warm, not a lot of use to me though. It also STANK of sewer gas and felt dirty, the cups and glasses were disgusting! I paid £200 for 2 nights and I definitely would NOT recommend!

Good location. Good parking. Good bed. Owner available on phone.

The carpet needed cleaning. The mirror light bulb needed replacing. The heating was not on and we had to ask for it. After driving from London it would be nice to have a better choice of tea/coffee. Please inform about a lot of stairs if on top floor.
