The shower was hot with good towels

The room was very cold, the heating did not work, the bed was a small 4ft double and very uncomfortable. Mold all around the window sills. broken door handle, dirty shower curtain and floor. cracked sink. cups and spoons dirty and not used. A very uncomfortable and distressing experience. We left the room in the early hours of the morning due to the cold.

A warm and welcoming house with several en-suite rooms. I stayed in two of them and found both to be comfortably furnished, cosy, and quiet. Ideal for working and resting.

We encountered a minor problem with the shower, but the host was extremely responsive. He answered my call right away and resolved it promptly. I was very impressed with how quickly and professionally the situation was handled.

The location was convenient for Sale and Tram Station.

Being woken up at 4am by someone requesting payment for the room via a phone translator. For some reason it was deemed ok to persistently knock at our door at 4am and repeatedly ask for money for over 20mins, and trying to gain entry. This was very intimidating and something I have never experienced before. The room itself was very underwhelming and not particularly clean. However given the location and cost, and the fact it was only one night we didn't mind too much, however the request for money was too much.

On the main road for Altrincham & the motorways & less than a 10 minute walk to the metro station made it an ideal location. The hallway & landings were well lit, warm & welcoming. Fresh, clean linen & towels. The room was spacious & and the bed was comfy. On site/free Parking was a big positive.

The checking in process was a little shambolic, with no details on how to access the lockbox. Fortunately, there was someone working on the premises that was able to assist. The previous occupant must have been a smoker, as the room had a constant stale cigarette odour, despite having all the windows open for long periods.
