Communication prior to arrival was sufficient. Check-in was OK. The key box does make things easy when you arrive (if you've been given a room number and associated code).

The decor is very tired and needs an update. The bed is past it's life expectancy and was very uncomfortable. Getting the shower to provide hot water requires ninja skills. Apparently the owner knows about the shower issue for this room, but has clearly not rectified the issue. The first morning, was a rude awakening to a fire alarm. It took the 'caretaker' 5-10 minutes to come running from his basement apartment. He silenced the alarm. There was no diagnosis of the root cause, and the alarm remained silenced for 24+ hours, before the cause was corrected. The previous owner was fantastic. It's lost its charm, and the breakfast under the new management.

The location is very good, and the size of the room is really big.

No pot, no pan for cooking, no knife nor chopping board. Toilet and shower room is very small.

It was fine, the room was a good size. Could be nice, has the potential.

Rather difficult to find, no signage and poor directions. Bit of a hodge-podge interior, which is odd.. Lots of room for improvement.

The teabags had actual mold on them. it was not clean bed linen... smelt and appeared like someone had already slept in the bed. One can tell if it is fresh bed linen. There was an alarm noise beeping in the hallway all night. The shower was cold in the morning. The bed was not big enough for 2 people.. very uncomfortable sleep

Parking was good, easy check in and large room

A bit tired in terms of decor.
