Hyatt Place Chicago/Itasca

Beds and rooms clean comfortable Pillows were perfection! I meant to ask about purchasing one!

Some of the guest were a little too loud, and the slamming of doors. Nothing they could control.

Spacious room, comfortable bed.

Guy at check-in was overworked supposedly, obviously underpaid and didn't give a thing about customer service. AC in room is super noisy and hotel itself is very loud. You hear every door, every bathroom activity above and below you. Water pressure in shower is virtually non existent.

Room was clean and well maintained. Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast bar was fine.

Only one elevator was available. Sometimes long waiting times for elevator. Luckily was on 3rd floor, so used stairs quite a bit.

This was my second time staying here and I enjoyed my stay. This is one of the only Hyatt place with microwaves in the room and I was upgraded due to my status with Hyatt. Very convenient having Buona beef and Mexican restaurant next door. Nice safe area with pleasant lakes to walk around. Chrome cast and hdmi hook ups for streaming is a must have. Clean rooms. Very solid hotel!

As the saying says “You get what you pay for, Very disappointed with how the pool was kept it was very dirty and smelled like raw sewage, hairs and floaties of random trash in water , broken elevator limited breakfast, also I took pics of the pool and one of the workers came in and started taking pictures of me and my 2 daughters which I felt very uncomfortable with then I asked him why he did that , he nodded his head and didn’t understand stand what I said .
