Safe, good breakfast

Dated, little attention to detail, broken furniture in room, old mattress

The lobby & bar area was great. I wish the pool was separated from the rest of the lobby. The kids playing & yelling seem to get amplified in the open lobby area.

Curtains barely fit in the window. I had to use 2 coat hangers to keep the morning sun out. The bed on the left was collapsed on the left, and firm on the right side. I almost felt like I was rolling uphill. The bar was nice, but could have used a 2nd person when it got even a little busy.

Was told by an employee the hotel was just sold about a month ago. Very paired down restaurant menu with only a single server/bartender in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was like any other free breakfast. They did have an omelet station but charged $6.99! A vessel sink in the bathroom which is an odd choice so there is zero counter space for toiletries.

Staff was nice and friendly.

The 4:00 check-in time is on the late side and the extra $20 to check in literally 40 minutes was ridiculous.

Over priced, bathroom wa OLD and worn out town shower curtain floor needs caulking. Maintenance that is being done is unskilled and messy lots of differed Maintenance

Location was good, close to stores and restaurants. It was about 30 minutes from Pikes Peak. My kids liked the pool, they said it was warm. The pool is dimly lit at night which they said was relaxing. The lobby is nice. There were a lot of dirty glasses by the couches and chairs in the lobby.

Our room did not have any hand soap or shampoo/conditioner or body wash as is typical in a hotel room. The room had cracks on the walls. There was no elevator to get to 2nd floor so we had to lug our luggage up a flight of steps. The hallways smelled like stale pot. For the breakfast, they were out of forks and meat the first day and on second day, they were out of eggs, hash browns, meat , juice and they had no coffee cups for the coffee.
