The room was big and on the balcony and in the washroom, the constantly running onsens were nice and relaxing. We had the first better sleep after the jetlag here. The hotel has a shuttle ride that took us to the train, we missed the chance to use the ride to get there (need to book day earlier). The hotel managed to order us for an extra fee some fresh horse mackerel for the dinner (noticed that option at their website).The room had a nice view towards the town, even though it was raining.

Well, this was our first stay in this kind of more (over 300€/night -class, notice the general per night prices in Japan) expensive accommodation, so we were expecting quite a lot, but really, I don't think anything too excessive. We got to the hotel a bit early before the check-in, after already walking through Yufuin since morning, and there was a couple of tourists taking with the staff and the staff had a slightly nasty attitude as the couple had come to a wrong place or something. The whole thing left a weird mark, but after some ten minutes we were led to our room. The facilities are nice, but at the same time they could be nicer. The age of the infrastructure is starting to show, and it isn't hidden away. First thoughts about the room were "oh, is this it?" And the welcome treat was simple too. Okay, we will make the most of it. Took onsen, tested the old massage chair which completely destroyed my back, but had a decent time. Dinner came and we were called there by telephone (prefixed time) and began eating. The dinner was decent kaiseki, nothing to wow at, but much nothing to say any seriously bad remarks about either. My annoyance during the dinner came to be the infrastructure. We had the apparently only fan in our walled "room" for the grilling smoke to go to. After we had done grilling, our neighbour behind the wall were just starting it. Well, you might have guessed, but our room with that fan got filled with their smoke and it took quite a while after pressing the button for the waiter to appear and then just open the balcony door (now we are open to the elements). Didn't get much of apologised at either. We are not the types to complain, especially when already exhausted from the day, so we just finished our meal and went for the onsen and sleep. Next morning we had an okay breakfast and then checked out. To be added that in the room there isn't anything extra that you wouldn't have to pay for.

食物方面可以有些改進

식사들을 숙소안으로 가져다주셔서 좋았습니다. 숙소안에 실내탕 실외탕이 각각 구비되어 좋았습니다. 에어컨말고도 히터기가 있어서 좋았습니다.

위치빼고는 다 좋았습니다.

服務超好，也超貼心，雖然晚到了還是有提供接送服務和晚餐真的很不好意思也很感謝

枕頭有點不好睡

Un super séjour, le personnel était très agréable et le ryokan exceptionnel!
