Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte/Pineville

First room had a lock that would not close cause someone took a screw out of it. Plus couldn’t call the front desk cause some a-hole decided to pull the wires out of the phone jack. So I was on the 5th floor and had to go all the way down to let them know my room was crap. Got a second room, to discover that I did not have a chair for the desk. So had to go down to let them know that I want a chair. Told front desk clerk to steal a chair from another room cause I want one. Stole me from another room but the chair looked dirty with a soiled cloth covering over it. I took a soapy washcloth on it and draped it with a clean towel. Room got a little cold so make the mistake of turning on the heat. Once on it smelled like burning crap. So I decided it is better to be cold than smell that. So that is why Hampton Inns kind of suck. They need a major renovation brand wise and a deep clean

The carpet in the hallway was very dirty and needed vacuumed. We were there two days and it was not vacuumed at all.

Car was broken into in the parking lot. Roaches and dirty room. Was promised a refund that was never given.

This is a rundown Hampton plain and simple. Toilets backed up. No one to help. Restrooms at lobby level also clogged with feces. No one managing the front desk from 6:45 am - 8:00 when we left. Coffee outright deplorable. Light burned out in bathroom. Our room had to closet. That’s right- no closet. The wall next to the far bed had a curtain covering it and behind it was an ironing board, and an 8” deep hanging rod. What a sh*thole!

Bed Could have been a little better but not Bad.

This was a quick one night stay, so needed the convenience of the Pineville/Ft Mill area. The hotel looked like parts were new (carpets, bathroom fixtures), but parts needed updating desperately (furniture, heating/cooling, lighting). The price was mid-level, but there are still expectations with Hilton brands regardless of the price I overheard that they got new owners, so will check on renovation progress the next time I need to stay in the area.

Breakfast was really good. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. The entire floor that we stayed on smelt, like marijuana, when I towed the front desk clerk, she said, oh, I'll let housekeeping know tomorrow when they get here. They're gone for the day. Remind you, I'm on a trip with my 2 grandchildren, who are one years old and three years old?If you have small children, I would not recommend staying at the motel
