The barman was the great .made everyone feel so welcome every time anyone came into the bar , but also all the staff so friendly & very helpfull .

Mooie locatie, nette kamers,

maar al het personeel dat er werkt in restaurant / bar / housekeeping lijkt me overwerkt. Overal lijkt er net 1 of 2 mensen te ontbreken. Niet dat het personeel daar iets van zegt, maar het valt gewoon op

"Grand Hotel in lovely countryside."

A beautiful building surounded by large grounds. A miny Balmoral. Lovely carved wood in main areas. Beds and room comfortable, warm and luxurious. Excellent shower. Breakfast had a large choice, and food was of very good quality. Staff friendly. We stayed for dinner one evening and food was very good, reasonable cost and staff good. There are short walks around the grounds, one around a wild meadow with three Scots Cows at our visit. A short drive into Aberdeen and easy access to main roads to explore ghe countryside and coast.

As the hotel is on a grand scale, some bedrooms, like ours, are a long walk to the main areas, although the walk was along nice corridors.

Fantastische slaapkamer.

Ontbijt is vnl op de Engelse mensen ingesteld. Er is dan weinig over om te eten als je dit niet bent.
