The old building. Food was execellant

Door handle on back of shower wonky. White sealer at back of sink coming away Slow service at meal had to ask for souo spoons steak knives and dessert spoons. Lengthy wait between courses. Drinks order waited 45 mins for it. When chased up the order taken by guy had gone missing. Had to reorder.

Picturesque, quiet, staff very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom toiletries were basic, gym showers were old and worn. I’d suggest a barman in whisky country knows something about whisky….

The food was excellent which is always nice to find. The rooms are spacious, the room we were in needed a little bit of a dusting. Which was done the next day.

The doors in the hotel bang very loud when people are coming and going and we could hear people talking, which woke us up.
