Black Bear Inn & Suites

The location is good and the breakfast was good.

The people behind the desk were not very friendly, our door did not ever shut and lock unless you slammed it shut. This was concerning due to security of our room.

It was convenient on the strip. It’s located at the end of the strip in gatlinburg so you can start from there for the day and explore then walk back. I liked the lay out of the property.

The pool was not up to date. Holes in the walls, ceilings and it was just “dirty feeling”. The floors didn’t look very clean. Our beds in our rooms were not made very well when we arrived.

The room was clean,the breakfast was good

I had 2 special request that wasn't honored due to the hotel not honoring if you reserve through booking. Com which I did not know because every hotel I have booked through booking I have never had a problem with special request .This should be mentioned on their website

I like the location

I didnt like how I paid for 4pm to 11am. I got there at 4:02pm and I had to wait until 4:50pm Until I could get the card. The old white man working the front desk yesterday morning was extremely rude and disrespectful. I spoke to him about the almost hour late check in and he thought the situation was so funny, that he laughed straight in my face, i even asked him why would he laugh at me. You all should probably start checking your cameras and see how your employees are treating paying customers. I will never go back to this hotel ever again. I have 2 kids and when I pay for a certain time for something I expect to have it. And I understand there is some issues that may make you have to check in a little late. But for the man to laugh at the situation was very very unprofessional. And he needs a suspension or to be fired in my opinion. You shouldn't be working with public if your going to be so disrespectful

Great location clean rooms

The air thermostat did not match the room temp in the room it was matching outside temp but we made It threw the night

Beautiful Hotel. Right at the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Staff was not the friendliest

So clean and the location was perfect

Wish there was an actual hot tub instead of the mini pool
