Travelodge by Wyndham Whittier

I just didn’t like that the WiFi wasn’t working at all from the room I was in that was way in the corner. It was just unfortunate because I had school assignments I needed to get done while I was staying.

what i didnt like was there was no do not disturb sign and the front office lady knocked on the door early in the morning when were sleeping and disturbed us

room was big

bed was uncomftable and noisy, location was bad and you can hear cars driving by and tv wasnt working properly

Space

You could hear Cleaning staff screaming to each other outside instead of using radios to avoid disturbing people

Staff was kind.

Checked in at 6:00PM and the room I reserved was not available. They tried to put us in a smoking room, then moved us to a different room than what I booked. They also tried telling me my reservation was canceled even though it was paid in full (hours) prior to arrival. When we got to the room it was not as advertised at all. The beds don’t even have blankets on them, just sheets and a decorative sheet on top. The restroom was unclean. There was hair on the walls of the shower, in the tub, around the tub. I found a false eyelash inside the toilet paper holder. The shower curtain was dirty and had black residue on it. The sink didn’t drain, it took about 5 minutes for it to drain after brushing teeth. Half of the outlets didn’t work. The first night, a lady came banging on our room demanding used towels and trash - even after my husband and I both asked her to leave. She just kept going and finally we got up to give her the towels. (You can tell people stay at this place for extended amounts of time, they literally put their towels and trash on the concrete outside.) This stay was terrible, and I am considering reaching out to the property about a refund due to all of these inconveniences.
